CAMP OVERVIEW

Trail Running Factory moves to Grindelwald and organize hut to hut high altitude camp to help you prepare for one of the most challenging races in the Swiss Alps – Eiger Ultra Trail by UTMB.

The race route passes the most breath-taking viewpoints this area has to offer, passing through Grosse Scheidegg, First, Faulhorn (2680m), Schynige Platte, Wengen, Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg, before tackling the awesome traverse along the base of the Eiger North Face itself.

This Trail Running Factory camp will deliver a truly spectacular alpine experience no matter if you are pro or just beginning to tame the trails.

Accommodation and Food

We will stay in 4 different hotels and mountain huts with half board, so no worries about food just take snacks, which you like to have on the runs during the day. All your luggage will be transported from hotel to hotel, so the only thing you must to care is running!

10th of July, twin or triple room at mountain hotel Schynige Platte

1 lecture

Transportation of luggage from hut to hut (maximum length of 56 cm (22 inches), width of 45 cm (18 inches) and depth of 25 cm (10 inches))

All running levels are welcome

Camp will be held in English. However it is possible for us to do it as well in Lithuanian and Russian.

3. HOW TO GET TO GRINDELWALD: Easiest and cheapest way to reach Grindelwald from any closest airport is with well robust train system WWW.SBB.CH
Flight to Bern: Grindelwald is accessible within one hour by train or by car from the airport Bern-Belp.
Flight to Basel: There are direct InterCity trains from Basel to Interlaken Ost (see train info.), approx. 2 hrs.
Flight to Zürich or Geneva: There are InterCity train connections to Bern. From Bern, change to an InterCity train to Interlaken, coming from Basel. Time from Zürich: approx. 2 hrs; from Geneva approx. 3hrs.

4. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: We have limit of 15 persons

5. NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: flights, transportation to and from Grindelwald, all kind of insurance, any bank transaction fees or other cost implemented and paid to third party because of your actions.
